Terms and Conditions

Effective date: May 13, 2026

These Terms and Conditions apply to the LinkedIn Post to Markdown Exporter Chrome extension. By installing or using this extension, you agree to these terms.

1) What this extension does?

This extension reads visible LinkedIn posts from profile activity pages and turns them into a markdown (.md) file saved on your device.

The extension only works on LinkedIn profile post pages where the content is already visible to you in your browser.

2) Allowed use

You may use this extension for personal work, research, writing reference, content study, and repurposing workflows.

You are responsible for how you use the exported content.

Before reusing, publishing, or rewriting someone else's content, make sure your use follows LinkedIn rules, copyright law, and any other laws that apply in your country.

3) No guarantee

This extension is provided on an "as is" basis.

The extension may stop working, change, break, or become limited at any time, including when LinkedIn changes its website.

There is no promise that exports will always be complete, accurate, or available.

4) User responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Checking the exported file before using it

  • Following platform rules and local laws

  • Making sure you have the right to reuse any content

  • Keeping files saved on your own device secure

5) Data handling

The extension reads page content only to create the markdown export for the feature the user asked for.

The exported file is saved to your own computer.

The extension does not sell user data or use it for unrelated purposes.

If a separate Privacy Policy is provided, that policy explains data handling in more detail.

6) Third-party websites

This extension works with LinkedIn pages, but it is not made by LinkedIn and is not endorsed by LinkedIn.

LinkedIn and its website may change at any time, which may affect how the extension works.

7) Limits of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the developer is not responsible for any loss, damage, account issue, claim, or problem caused by use of this extension or by use of exported content.

This includes direct loss, indirect loss, missed business, lost data, and platform-related issues.

8) Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time.

The latest version should be treated as the current version.

9) Contact

For support or questions, use the contact method listed on the Chrome Web Store page.
